JOAN SOBEL (Carlotta Guidicelli) has sung with Opera Ontario, Connecticut Opera, New York City Opera Touring Company, Cirque Grüss, Opera Roanoke and Artpark Festival.  Joan was ‘Artist of the Year’ for her performance in Les Contes d’Hoffmann (Syracuse Opera). Highlights include Carnegie Hall in Fauré’s Requiem (Mid-America Production Orchestra) and Der Freischütz (New York Philharmonic). She created the role of Belisa in The Love of Don Perlimplin and Belisa in the Garden (Opera Theatre of Northern Virginia). Joan is a native Virginian and a North Carolina School of the Arts graduate. All my love to Laurence.
